Thrash OGs' Final Campaign features eclectic bill of rock and metal veterans playing in support

Slayer are approaching the end. The thrash titans' Final Campaign — a.k.a. the concluding leg of their farewell world tour — swung through New York City's Madison Square Garden on Saturday, November 9th, as the countdown continues toward the run's very-last date, at the Los Angeles Forum on the 30th. As historic as the trek is, it's also notable for its formidable and diverse lineup of rock and metal veterans opening the show: Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals playing a 30-minute set of Pantera fan favorites, Ministry playing all classics, too, including 1000 Homo DJs' Sabbath cover, and Primus jamming and slapping out "Too Many Puppies," "My Name Is Mud" and more.
