Baroness will deliver an exclusive small-club performance on September 10th at the Brooklyn Bazaar to celebrate Revolver magazine's relaunch and raise funds for the suicide prevention charity Hope for the Day. Revolver Magazine's relaunch event, dubbed "The Living Breathing Revolver," pairs Baroness' live set with an art exhibit co-curated by the band's frontman John Dyer Baizley, which will include some of his original artwork. The event will also feature an opening set by Brooklyn-based post-metal outfit Sannhet, as well as live Q&As with skate icon Steve Caballero and Refused/INVSN frontman Dennis Lyxzén, plus screenings of original Revolver videos and an illustration demo by acclaimed artist Arik Roper. Tickets are on-sale now right here.
The relaunch issue of Revolver hits newsstands on September 12th and comes with four collectible Mastodon covers, each featuring one member of the band; when placed side by side, the images merge to form one large, continuous image. New and renewed subscribers will also receive a limited-edition Mastodon 7-inch while supplies last. The 7-inch includes the band's single "Toe to Toes" and an exclusive instrumental mix of the song, as well as an original cover design by artist Richey Beckett, who also created the cover of the band's forthcoming Cold Dark Place EP.
