Back when Every Time I Die were around, the metalcore band would host an annual holiday festival in their hometown of Buffalo called 'Tid the Season. ETID would headline, the lineups were always ridiculously stacked, and the fans loved it.
Now, Better Lovers are reigniting that spirit with a new annual fest called BLissmas, which debuts this December in Buffalo.
The band — featuring three former ETID members, ex-Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and Fit For an Autopsy guitarist/ bigwig producer Will Putney — will headline the December 8th gig at the Town Ballroom, with support from newly-reunited metalcore vets It Dies Today (a.k.a. Billie Eilish's new favorite band), rising mathcore champs the Callous Daoboys, post-hardcore crew Greyhaven and up-and-coming Buffalo hardcore ass-kickers Spaced.
"We couldn't be more excited to perform, host and welcome everyone to Buffalo in December once again," the band wrote in a press release. "Being back on the road this year and talking to all of you, we realized how much this weekend means to everyone and it became a tradition that was dearly missed by many.
"This band had its first ever practice, songs written, and shows played, in Buffalo. This show is special to us, and it's special to the city.
"We will host a toy drive for Toys For Tots, a non-profit public charity that distributes toys to less fortunate children. We encourage attendees to donate a new, unwrapped toy in exchange for a free gift at our merch table."
Tickets for BLissmas go on sale this Friday October 6th at 10 a.m. EST. Check out the flier below.
