BRING ME THE HORIZON split with JORDAN FISH

Bring Me the Horizon have parted ways with their long-time keyboardist, percussionist and producer Jordan Fish.

The U.K. metalcore troupe announced the news in a brief Twitter post thanking him for his 11 years with the band and wishing him luck on his future endeavors. Fish quote-Tweeted the post with a cordial thank-you to the band that echoed their well wishes, so the departure appears to be mutual. 

"Bring Me The Horizon has decided to part ways with Jordan Fish," the band wrote on Twitter. "We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future.

"Meanwhile we continue to work on Nex Gen, with brand new music coming very soon." 

Fish joined the band in 2012 and his electronic handiwork was immediately felt on BMTH's smash 2013 album, Sempiternal. Since then, he's had a heavy thumbprint on the band's electro-metal output over the last decade. 

"I'm really grateful for my 11 years with the band, and extremely proud of all that we have achieved together," Fish wrote on Twitter. 

"I look forward to hearing what they do next, and wish them every success in the future. I'm excited to start this next chapter in my career."

BMTH were supposed to drop their long-awaited EP, POST HUMAN: Nex Gen, earlier this fall, but the project was pushed back indefinitely due to "unforeseen circumstances." As the band wrote in their post, it seems like we'll finally be hearing more of that soon enough.
