Late last month, Crosses (†††) announced their upcoming new EP, PERMANENT.RADIANT, and unveiled its lead single, "Vivien," that saw the duo of Deftones' Chino Moreno and Far's Shaun Lopez leaning into the heavier side of the electronic-rock project's sound.
Today (November 18th), they've followed the song up with a second single, "Sensation," which likewise brings a harder edge to the group's typically smooth and sultry vibe. Opening with a shimmering synth line and Moreno's signature croon, the song builds to a big, guitar-driven chorus worthy of the singer's main band.
"Sensation" arrived along with an eerie music video that follows an unnamed recurring protagonist (played by Thais Molon) waking up from a car crash and trying to find a ride in the desert. The narrative footage is intercut with grainy clips of Moreno and Lopez performing the song in a narrow, dark alley. Watch and listen above.
PERMANENT.RADIANT is due out December 9th via Warner Records.
