From Misfits to Samhain to his eponymous goth-metal band, Glenn Danzig has always been inspired by horror movies. "I saw the correlation between society and the monster and why there was a need for a monster," he told us in 2018. The following year, Danzig finally brought a life-long dream into reality, releasing his very own horror movie: Verotika, based on the output of his long-running adult-themed comic-book publishing company Verotik.
That was followed, in 2021, with the vampire Western Death Rider in the House of Vampires, starring Danny Trejo, Eli Roth, Devon Sawa and Danzig himself. And there's more to come. As Danzig revealed in a new interview with RadioactiveMike Z (which you can listen to below), Evil Elvis is currently writing not one, not two, not three but four scripts — including sequels to his first pair of films.
"The Vampires' Vengeance is the Death Rider sequel," he said. "That's almost done. Then I'm writing a werewolf biker movie — like one-percenter werewolf bikers, outlaw bikers. Then I've got a martial arts movie I've been working on for a while with the knife-fighting assassin. And then the Verotika sequel."
