Revolver has teamed with HEALTH for an exclusive vinyl variant of RAT WARS — limited to 500. Get yours from our shop
Usually, the phrase is "take care of your health," but today, HEALTH are taking care of you. The L.A. noise-makers have big news: They're releasing a new album called RAT WARS in December, they've dropped two new songs today, and next spring they're embarking on a U.S. headlining tour.
HEALTH's last two albums, 2020's Disco4: Part 1 and 2022's Part 2, were collaborative affairs that featured at least one guest artist on every single song. RAT WARS marks the band's first full-length since 2019's Vol. 4: Slaves of Fear that isn't entirely premised on working with outside musicians.
"Hateful," the throbbing single they dropped back in April, will be on there, as well as the two they dropped today; the metallic "Children of Sorrow" (which does feature Lamb of God's Willie Adler on guitar) and the noisier "Sicko," which samples Godflesh's "Like Rats."
Listen to both new tracks above and below via YouTube.
As for the tour, HEALTH will be hitting the road in March 2024 with support from Pixel Grip and King Yosef. The trek covers both the East and West coasts of the U.S., as well a couple dates up in Canada. See the routing below.
RAT WARS will be released December 7th via Loma Vista Recordings, and you can pre-order Revolver's exclusive "coke bottle clear" vinyl variant from our shop.
