It's been a little while since Angel Du$t — the band helmed by Trapped Under Ice frontman Justice Tripp, that formerly featured members of Turnstile — released a song you could truly two-step mosh to, but "Space Jam" is that song.
Today (July 18th), the Baltimore punk collagists have announced their new album, BRAND NEW SOUL, which arrives this fall and is their first since 2021's YAK: A Collection Of Truck Songs. Both that record and 2019's Pretty Buff saw Angel Du$t branch out from the hardcore-tinged pop-punk of their first couple records and embrace lusher, softer, more out-there musical ideas.
The first two singles from BRAND NEW SOUL, "Love Slam" and "Very Aggressive," are more in-line with Angel Du$t's alt-rocky side, but "Space Jam" is a total ripper that reinvigorates the band's loud-and-fast origins while maintaining the freewheeling spirit of their newer vibe.

BRAND NEW SOUL is out September 8th via Pop Wig Records, and it's available for pre-order now.
