We're just about a month out from Behemoth unleashing their latest batch of satanic extreme-metal, Opvs Contra Natvram, onto this mortal plane. So far, the band helmed by Adam Nergal Darski have released a smattering of great singles with violent and shocking videos, and today (August 17th) they've graced us with another dose of unholy mayhem.
Titled "Thy Becoming Eternal," the Polish group's latest nestles into their sweet spot of galloping, evil death metal decorated with ornate black-metal atmosphere, and it comes packaged with an animated visual that looks like something out of a child's worst nightmare. "Legions! Our new offering from Opvs Contra Natvram — 'Thy Becoming Eternal,'" Nergal said in a press release. "As always, we're trying to keep things fresh! The video was produced by talented Japanese animator, Ruben Fro, who created this epic, aeonic CG landscape for our stoic warrior to journey through. The song itself is a fast and furious beast with a bombastic ending, definitely one of the most intense songs in Behemoth's catalog. Let us know if you agree!"
