Last year, Canadian deathcore cinematographers Brand of Sacrifice returned with a brutal new song called "Exodus" that ushered in what they described as their "next chapter." Now, we're getting a glimpse at the full book. The band have now unleashed another massively heavy song called "Dynasty" that features all the symphonic deathcore bells and whistles that fans have come to love about Brand of Sacrifice, and then some. Blast it above while you watch their latest in a long line of action-packed music videos.
But that's not all. Brand of Sacrifice have also announced a new EP called Between Death and Dreams that's set to arrive in full later this spring. "Exodus" and "Dynasty" are both on there, as well as two other unreleased songs.
"A big challenge for me this year was to bring in some different elements on the emotional spectrum into our music and lyrics, not just despair or anger," vocalist Kyle Anderson said of "Dynasty." "I wanted to express some of my personal story through this song.
"'Dynasty' is more uplifting; it's about challenging yourself to overcome your personal obstacles while staring fear in the face and, much like Brand of Sacrifice as a whole, becoming an absolutely unstoppable force."
