Corey Taylor's new solo album, CMF2, is only a few days away, but the Slipknot singer is giving fans one last preview. Today (September 12th), Taylor has dropped a new song called "We Are the Rest," which he's been playing live for several months now in the lead-up to his forthcoming album.
Compared to the previous three CMF2 singles we've heard — the mid-tempo rock song "Beyond", the much heavier, Slipknot-ier "Post Traumatic Blues" and the punky "Talk Sick" — "We Are the Rest" lands somewhere in the middle.
It's zippy, has a huge chorus, crunchy power chords, and it has Taylor's signature stamp all over it. Listen above via YouTube.
