Revolver has teamed with Holy Fawn for an exclusive colored vinyl variant of Dimensional Bleed — limited to 250 copies worldwide. Get yours before they're gone!
In the niche yet highly devoted world of post-metal, shoegaze and blackgaze, Holy Fawn's new album has been hotly anticipated for several years. The Arizona band's 2018 album, Death Spells, is a high-water mark for music that combines the skyscraping atmospheres of post-rock with the heavy breadth of textured metal, and now they've finally announced its full-length follow-up, Dimensional Bleed, out later this year via Wax Bodega. The album was co-produced with Mike Watts, who's best known for his work with Dillinger Escape Plan, Glassjaw and As Cities Burn.
Today (July 12th), we're also being treated to its title-track, a two-and-a-half-minute encapsulation of the power this band can summon — and what might be their heaviest song yet. Take a listen above via YouTube.
"We're always going to be the same four humans making music," singer-guitarist Ryan Osterman said of Dimensional Bleed. "With every release, I feel like we've continued to learn how to best support each other both mentally and musically, which enables us to try new things. Personally, I think this record has truly allowed us to explore more creative avenues than we did with Death Spells."
The full record is out September 9th via Wax Bodega and is now available for pre-order in a variety of formats. One of those is a Revolver-exclusive vinyl variant on "coke bottle clear with black splatter" that's limited to just 250 copies worldwide. Get yours before they're gone!
