Militarie Gun are one of the fastest-rising names in the ever-blending worlds of hardcore, punk and indie-rock. Back in 2021, we named the band — fronted by Regional Justice Center's Ian Shelton, and featuring members of Drug Church and Modern Color — an artist you need to know on the strength of their twin EP's, All Roads Lead to the Gun I and II, and after signing to Loma Vista last year and dropping the hot new single "Do It Faster" a couple months back, the band have finally announced their debut LP, Life Under the Gun.
The 12-track LP is out June 23rd, and in addition to "Do It Faster" and the early single "Big Disappointment," it will include the massively catchy song "Very High," which Militarie Gun have dropped today (April 18th).
Nestling into their sweet-spot between brash post-hardcore and classically hooky alt-rock, it's a song that heavy music fans can sing to and fans who typically like lighter fare can scream to. Listen above while you watch its mesmerizing video via YouTube .
