Revolver favorites Spirit Adrift are gearing up to release their new album, Ghost at the Gallows, and today (May 5th) they've offered up its second single, "I Shall Return." Like its predecessor, March's "Death Won't Stop Me," the song serves as a burly, Eighties-style anthem to heavy-metal immortality. Crank it above via its music video.
Spirit Adrift bandleader Nate Garrett commented: "At the intersection of heavy metal and metaphysical, the lyrics describe how we never truly die, and that the universe recycles our matter and energy in an infinite cycle. On a long enough timeline, maybe we do return."
