Over the last couple years, Bay Area hardcore denizens Sunami have quickly become one of the biggest bands in the entire genre — and until today (June 14th), they hadn't even released a full-length album.
Well, now they have. Once the clock struck midnight, Sunami surprise-dropped their long-awaited debut LP, Sunami, following a successful handful of EP's and splits that've made them the kings of TikTok hardcore and one of the reigning champs of Northern Caifornia's vital hardcore scene.
The eight-song album features a couple previously-released tracks ("Contempt of Cop" and "Six") and six brand new ones that all possess the band's over-the-top heavy flair. Crossing metallic hardcore with death-metal, the band have a truly destructive sound that comes through great in these recordings.
