Clutch have been stoner-rock warriors for a long time now. Since forming in 1991, the Maryland eclectics have dumped 13 albums worth of material on their fans — and that doesn't even include their boatload of EP's, compilations and live albums. If someone's never heard a Clutch song before, where the hell should they start?

For them, Revolver is here to help with our "Point of Entry" series, in which we ask artists to pick the single standout cut from across their entire catalog that they believe is the best place for virgin listeners to begin their journey. Below, Clutch frontman Neil Fallon does the honors.

"Noble Savage"

It's hard to pick one because we've been doing it for so long and our eras are different because of who we were and who we've become. It may not be indicative of our entire catalog, but I think "Noble Savage" [from 2015's Psychic Warfare] is a good mission-statement song. I chose that because the chorus is, "unapologetic lifer for rock & roll."
