Finally, the news stateside Pantera fans have been waiting for. The re-formed groove-metal titans — now comprised of core members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by longtime friends Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society) and Charlie Benante (Anthrax) — have announced their first U.S. tour dates in over two decades. Even better, the shows will see them opening for the one and only Metallica!
Pantera will play as direct support on select dates on Metallica's just announced M72 World Tour; Mammoth WVH will open those same shows. The run will see the headliners playing two nights in every city they visit—with each No Repeat Weekend featuring two completely different setlists and support lineups. Two-day tickets will be on sale Friday, December 2nd at ticketmaster.com and will include the option of pre-ordering Metallica's upcoming album, 72 Seasons, on vinyl and/or CD. Single-day tickets will be available beginning January 20th. For more information including fan club presales, enhanced experiences and more, go to metallica.com/m72-info.
