Revolver has teamed with August Burns Red for an exclusive "bloodshot" colored vinyl variant of Death Below, limited to just 500 copies worldwide. Grab yours from our shop before they're gone!
August Burns Red are gearing up for the release of their 10th full-length album, Death Below, which arrives March 24th via SharpTone Records. The LP is stacked with guests — Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach, Underoath screamer Spencer Chamberlain, guitarist Jason Richardson (All That Remains, Chelsea Grin, Born of Osiris) and Erra frontman JT Cavey (formerly Texas In July) — and we previously got to hear the emotionally-charged track with Leach, "Ancestry."
Today (January 25th), they're giving fans another taste by dropping the explosive song, "Backfire," which brutalizes the senses with numerous breakdowns and twirling guitar licks. This one doesn't feature a guest, but its music video is filled with a shit-ton of fire, so that's pretty cool. Check it out above via YouTube.
"'Backfire' is song that musically is a punch in the face, and we wrote the lyrics to follow suit," the band said in a press statement. "The song is about choosing who you follow wisely, and not allowing people you've never met to influence the decisions you make in life. 'Backfire' ticks all the boxes when it comes to an ABR song."
Death Below is now available for pre-order in a variety of formats, including a Revolver-exclusive 2LP vinyl variant on "bloodshot" colored wax that's limited to just 500 copies worldwide. Grab yours from our shop before they're gone!
