Adam Nergal Darski stays plenty busy with his main band, Polish blackened death-metal titans Behemoth, but since 2017 he's been channeling his excess energy into a dark blues side project Me and That Man. His latest release under that moniker is the single "Run With the Devil," featuring Jørgen Munkeby of Norwegian blackjazz collective Shining, and it arrives accompanied by a slick, tripped-out visual that invokes Quentin Tarantino at his neon-madness best to properly convey the outlaw sound of the song.
"This one was a lot of fun," Nergal commented. "When I first started thinking of the imagery to the track, I wanted to create something more than a music video, I wanted a music movie which carries on from where [Me and That Man's song] 'Nightride' left off. Don't take it too seriously, we're metaphorically burying the past and bringing in a new!"
No information about a coming album is available yet, but Nergal will be hitting the road with Me and That Man for a handful of shows in early 2020. Watch the "Run With the Devil" video above, and check out the band's current itinerary below.
