One of the most visually and conceptually stunning bands in heavy music today, Heilung are a Viking industrial-folk group who describe their music and performances — which incorporate unusual instruments including swords, shields and human bones — as "amplified history." Last night (December 7th), a massive global audience got to see that amplified history in practice when Heilung performed at the livestreamed Game Awards.

Performing at The Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles, the Nordic collective premiered a new song, which was written in collaboration with Ninja Theory for the soundtrack to 2024's Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.
