Add Kate Beckinsale to the list of celebrities who have an unlikely love for metal. The star of the Underworld series, Van Helsing, Total Recall, Click, Contraband and many other popular flicks appears to be a fan of the Texas metallic hardcore band Kublai Khan — a group who recently toured with the Acacia Strain and are hitting the road with Knocked Loose later this spring.
The unexpected reveal came courtesy of some videos that Beckinsale posted on Instagram, in which her and friend Nina Kate are seen coloring and dancing along to Kublai Khan's crushingly heavy song "The Hammer." The two women are decked out in classy pink dresses and six-inch heels, but that doesn't stop them from doing some synchronized moves and screaming the mosh call, "Bitch!"
"Absolutely Galentining the fuck out of Sunday," wrote Beckinsale in her caption. Who knew Kublai Khan were a great soundtrack for the most romantic holiday of the year?
