Back in October, Linkin Park co-vocalist Mike Shinoda dropped a pop-punky new solo song called "Already Over." A couple weeks later, he assembled a who's who of Australian musicians to give the song its "live" debut, and the makeshift band also banged out an in-studio cover of Linkin Park's "Bleed it Out."
Now, Shinoda has released a second "Already Over Sessions" video that features a totally different team of musicians playing through "Already Over."
Then, the crew bust out a cover of Linkin Park's Meteora banger "Faint," featuring Saliva frontman Bobby Amaru on second mic.
For the Linkin Park portion of the vid, Shinoda handles guitar and vocals while Amarua and his kid daughter belt out the vocal part that was originally sung by late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington.
Shinoda still hasn't played a proper solo show since 2019, so it's a pretty special occasion to see a Linkin Park member play one of their songs live in 2023.
