Korn's James "Munky" Shaffer recently tried his hand at a new challenge — trying to guess his own band's songs while they're playing in reverse. The guitarist is the latest guest on SiriusXM's "Reverse the Verse" YouTube game, in which contestants listen to a 10-second clip of various songs throughout their catalog and attempt to identify what they're listening to.
You'd think it would be easy since these musicians literally wrote the tracks they're hearing, but it's actually a lot more challenging than you'd expect since the tracks are all contorted and wonky. However, Munky had a killer streak going during his apperance, identifying deep cuts and hits from all throughout his catalog by tiny little guitar riffs and subtle vocal intonations.
