Back in May, Poppy had nu-metal fans in a tizzy over her ferocious, industrialized take on Kittie's turn-of-the-millennium classic "Spit." On August 18th, at The Showbox SoDo in Seattle, Washington, she finally gave the cover its live debut.
As seen in the fan-filmed footage above, Poppy tore into the song, delivering its biting lyrics in scabrous, feedback-soaked screams, while the crowd chanted the one-word chorus back to her.
Poppy also played "Spit" the following night in Portland, Oregon. You can watch that performance below.
